Chōmusubi, Japan’s first stool donation service, received the highest distinction in the Red Dot Design Award: Design Concept category.

The project was jointly conceived and produced with Metagen Therapeutics Inc., a company advancing medical research and drug discovery through gut microbiome science. By reframing donation as an accessible and humane act, Chōmusubi establishes a new social infrastructure at the intersection of healthcare, design, and everyday life.
