LENOVO SHIBUYA RUN

As the official technology partner of F1, Lenovo has implemented activation strategies under the concept of “Empowering F1 to Everyone with the Power of Technology.” These strategies aim to make F1 enjoyable and accessible to everyone, regardless of age, gender, disability, or background.

We approached Mr. Nagaya, a former F3 racer who had suffered a spinal cord injury in an accident at Suzuka, to be the representative of this project. Supporting the dream of becoming an F1 racer with technology would be an opportunity to communicate technology and showing the corporate attitude for all kinds of people. This was realized through Mr. Nagaya’s drive with F1 car in Shibuya.

A virtual race venue was designed in Shibuya’s iconic city, known for accepting diverse challenges. From Mr. Nagaya’s driving data at this venue, realistic F1 racing footage was broadcasted on Shibuya’s 13 screens, resembling a multi-angle live broadcast.
